碁石は厚みと等級によって価格が決まります。
厚みは号数で表し、号数が大きければ厚くなり重量も増します。
等級は貝の白さ、縞目の細かさにより雪、月、実用と区別され貝目が多くあるのが雪印、少ないのが実用と分けられます。（弊店には月印はありません。）
縞目の細かく厚いものは僅かしか取れない為、雪印の厚いものは高価になっています。
蛤碁石は打ち味、触り心地、質感がガラス製碁石やプラスチック製碁石とは全く違いますので、囲碁を心ゆくまで堪能されるなら蛤碁石をおすすめしています。
外箱に管理用シール跡などがありますがご了承ください。

The black stones are made of Nachikuro.
Go stone prices are determined by thickness and grade.
Thickness is indicated by the number, with larger numbers indicating greater thickness and weight.
Grade is distinguished by the shell's whiteness and the fineness of its grain pattern: Snow, Moon, and Practical. Those with more shell grain are Snow grade, while those with less are Practical grade. (Our store does not carry Moon grade.)
Thick stones with fine grain are extremely rare, making thick Snow grade stones very expensive.
Clam shell go stones offer a striking feel, touch, and texture entirely distinct from glass or plastic stones. For those who wish to fully savor the experience of playing Go, we recommend clam shell stones.
Please note that the outer box may show traces of management seals.
The go stones themselves are unused.
碁石の厚さについて
一般的に扱いやすい厚みは「30号～36号」とされています。この範囲の碁石は指に挟みやすく、実用性にも優れているため、多くの方に心地よくお使いいただけます。特に28号～36号の碁石は、使い勝手と価格のバランスが良く、手頃な価格帯からお選びいただける人気のサイズです。
The generally recommended thickness range for easy handling is “30 to 36.” Go stones within this range are easy to pinch between fingers and offer excellent practicality, making them comfortable for many users. Go stones sized 28 to 36 are particularly popular, offering a good balance of usability and price, and are available in a range of affordable options.
お手入れ方法
まずは対局前に手を洗い、きれいな手で対局するのがマナーで、碁石や碁盤を長く美しく保つ基本です。
◎白石（本蛤）
対局後は乾いた木綿の布で良く拭いてください。
〈汚れの気になる時〉
水で湿らしたタオルを机など台の上に畳んで置いて一個づつ石の両面を丁寧に拭いてください。汚れが落ちにくい時は中性洗剤をタオルに少量つけて拭いてください。その後乾いた布で乾拭きします。
※注意点
蛤石は石灰質ですから熱湯で洗うと割れる原因になりますので使用しないでください。
◎黒石（那智黒）
表面の乾燥を防ぐために油を塗布してありますので木綿の布でふき取ってからご使用ください。艶だしのための油が多少、多めに塗布されていますので、そのまま使用されますと碁盤、白石や碁笥を汚す原因となります。
白っぽくなっている場合は油切れですので、ベビーオイルや香りやべたつきの少ない天然油を布に少量染み込ませて拭くと光沢が戻ります。
Care Instructions
First, it is proper etiquette to wash your hands before a game and play with clean hands. This is fundamental to keeping the stones and board beautiful.
◎White Stones (Natural Clam Shell)
After the game, wipe them thoroughly with a dry cotton cloth.
〈When concerned about dirt〉
Fold a towel dampened with water and place it on a table or other surface. Carefully wipe both sides of each stone one by one. If dirt is stubborn, apply a small amount of neutral detergent to the towel and wipe. Then dry-wipe with a dry cloth.
※Important Note
Hammock stone is calcareous. Washing with boiling water may cause cracking, so please do not use it.
◎Black Stone (Nachikuro)
Oil has been applied to prevent surface drying. Wipe it off with a cotton cloth before use. A slightly generous amount of oil has been applied to enhance the luster. Using it without wiping off the oil may stain your go board, white stones, or go cabinet.
If the surface appears dull, the oil has worn off. To restore the shine, lightly dampen a cloth with baby oil or a natural oil with minimal scent and stickiness, then wipe the surface.
